Deletion & the chain
Because the audit trail is append-only and hash-chained, individual records are never edited or hard-deleted in place. When data ages out of retention, an entire tenant chain segment is expired as a unit so integrity guarantees are preserved for whatever remains.
GDPR-style erasure of personal data is handled at the source — VeldrixAI does not store raw PII in the log, so the audit trail itself contains no erasable personal data.
Long-term archival
For regulatory retention beyond your plan window, export audit data to CSV/JSON on a schedule and archive it in your own object store or GRC platform. Enterprise plans can configure automated export to S3/GCS.
